Jeff defeated Rey Mysterio, Kane, and Chris Jericho. Jeff is to babyfaces as Vickie Guerrero is to heels. Unlike Cena, there isn’t a single person booing him. Mysterio was over big also but he had a pyro botch. Kane’s pyro reminded me of the Attitude Era when his ring post pyro could be felt from the rafters. They have since toned it down. The crowd was super hot for this match and did not die at any point in the match (even during the spot in the match where an obvious commercial break is planted when Kane clears the ring and stares for about 30 seconds. Kane was out fairly quickly via Jericho and he flipped out. He threw chairs into the ring and tossed some stuff at ringside. Jericho grabbed one of the chairs and got himself DQ’d. He again pouted down the aisle. Now the crowd was very hot for 7-10 minutes of Myserio/Hardy action. They hit their usual spots and Mysterio hit the 619 and his top rope finisher but Hardy no-sold it and rolled up Mysterio to secure a match at Unforgiven. Big pop. Mysterio went for the handshake to early and had to be told by the ref to wait. They finally did shake hands.

I  just made some simple animations of Jeff from THS S7 Episode Jeff the Artist and put them up in my media section, which is still a work in progress. If anyone out there has any they would like to give me including wallpapers, banners, signatures etc then by all means send them in to me and I will add them to that page credit to you of course.

For about a week or two news has come out that Jeff Hardy is supposedly turning down offers from the WWE and will leave the company and what not. All were added to the sites for effect so you’ll come back of course. Now here is the real scoop.

Jeff’s music hits and out he comes. Matt is out next. The two stare each other down as the bell rings to start the match. Jeff kicks Matt into a corner and begins stomping away. On the outside, Jeff whips Matt into the barricade. Jeff runs and jumps off the ring-steps and slams his leg into Matt, who was laying against the barricade still. Back in the ring, Jeff continues his beatdown of his brother. Leg-drop off the top rope from Jeff. Ref asking if Matt wants to quit, he says no. Jeff with a sleeper hold, but Matt slams Jeff into the corner to break the hold. He’s up and drops and elbow on Jeff. Jim Ross says Matt has some swelling on his face already….

Heading into the “I Quit” Match against his brother at Backlash, Jeff Hardy fell short in tag team action against Matt & Kane on SmackDown, leaving us to question what will happen this Sunday.

Jeff has his face paint back on. Matt and Jeff seem ready to start this one off but Matt changes his mind and tags in Kane. Jeff goes on the attack but Kane shoves him to his corner. Punk sneaks in a tag and the two of them attack Kane and get the upper hand before the referee forces him back out of the ring. Punk goes for an Irish Whip but Kane reverses it. Punk dives through Kane’s legs and catches him with a dropkick. Kane stumbles into the Punk/J. Hardy corner and Punk tags in Jeff before putting Kane into an arm lock. Jeff comes off the top and hammers Kane’s shoulder. Kane fires back with a huge uppercut and tags in Matt; who finally seems ready to go but Jeff forces him into the corner. The referee makes him back up but Jeff slips away and hits Matt with a clothesline. Jeff goes for a slingshot dropkick but Matt slides out of the ring. CM Punk prevents Matt from getting too far and Jeff takes advantage with a Baseball Slide. Jeff slings over the top rope and hits Matt with a big cross body! Who will win this one? We’ll find out after the commercials!

In an update from yesterday’s story on Jeff Hardy possibly leaving WWE soon, he still has not been receptive to any of the long term deals WWE has offered. The company actually offered Jeff a one year deal so they can lock him in for the time being and start working towards a longer deal. As of this writing, the last word was that Hardy still has not agreed to a deal.

Hardy’s contract situation is the reason he has been booked to lose in the feud with his brother Matt. Matt has been getting the victories to make him look stronger and put Jeff down in case Jeff ends up leaving the company.

The belief right now is that Jeff isn’t looking to go to another wrestling company, at least openly, but that he is looking to live his life on his own schedule. TNA sources indicated yesterday that they have had no contact with Jeff. Regardless of what ends up happening, we will keep you updated.

SmackDown wrestler Jeff Hardy has handed in his notice to World Wrestling Entertainment. He has three months left on his contract and is refusing to sign an extension.

It’s being said that he is very burned out and looking to do some other things outside of wrestling, so there is a very good possibility that he won’t be renewing his contract when it comes due this summer. This could explain his losses to his brother in recent weeks.
