Dixie comes to the ring then calls out Flair, she goes onto to say he came to TNA to be a mentor and leader and he has failed at that and therefore suspended for 90 days without pay this causes Flair to get pissed off. He takes off his jacket and asks if she said he’ll be sitting on the sidelines while Fourtune does great things. He approaches Dixie and her husband jumps in the ring until they restrain him, then Hogan comes out with Anderson, Angle, Pope, and Hardy.

Impact Opener:

No intro tonight as we cut right into footage shot earlier of Jeff Hardy fighting with Abyss in the backstage area. Hardy pounds on Abyss for a bit and slams him into various objects before Abyss recovers and throws Hardy on a table. He brings Hardy into the area and they fight around the crew setting up for the show. Hardy hits Abyss in the ribs with a mop but Abyss kicks him and throws him into the guardrail. Hardy throws a chair at Abyss and they start making their way backstage again then Abyss chokes Hardy with an extension chord. Hardy takes the fight into a hallway where fans are waiting to get into the Impact Zone until security runs in and restrains Hardy.

Samoa Joe vs Jeff Hardy

The fans are chanting for Joe, so Hardy gets out and hi fives all of the fans at ringside? He gets back in and Joe kicks him and punches him in the corner, then dumps him over the ropes. Joe slams him into the ring steps but Hardy fights back and throws Joe’s head into the apron, then gets back inside and works on Joe in the corner. Hardy puts him in a rear chinlock but Joe drops down and hits a jawbreaker, then kicks Hardy in the face and hits a big kneedrop. Joe picks him up and Hardy punches back and whips Joe, but Joe hits a back kick and starts pounding on Hardy on the mat. Joe runs at Hardy and hits a back elbow and a snapping toe kick, then goes for a pin but only gets a two count.

Lethal and Hardy lock up then Hardy whips Lethal into the corner, and Lethal floats over and throws Hardy out of the ring. Lethal hits a suicide dive and gets a near fall when he rolls Hardy in. Lethal runs into a corkscrew dive on Lethal then exchanges punches before Hardy hits a lariat and an atomic drop. Hardy tries using the ropes to kick Lethal, but Lethal kicks him in the chest then hits a missile dropkick for a two count. Lethal goes for the Lethal Combination but Hardy fights it off and hits the Twist of Fate and the Swanton Bomb to get the win.

Impact Opener:

Impact starts with Abyss throwing chairs in the ring and then he makes his way towards So Cal Val. He leaps at a few fans and grabs their chairs and throws them into the pile in the ring. He continues to follow around the ring and points at her when she trips, and Hogan comes to the ring and tells Abyss to get in the ring. Abyss gets to the ropes but Eric Bischoff runs down the ramp and gets in Hogan’s way and tells him what he is doing is insane. Security comes in and gets between Abyss and Hogan, and Bischoff is trying to get Abyss to back down, and then calls him an ungrateful son of a b***h and slaps him in the face. Abyss knocks out the security guards and then points at Bischoff, and Hogan smacks him in the back with one of the chairs. Abyss doesn’t sell the chair shots and turns around to Hogan, but Jeff Hardy runs down to make the save. He hits with some of the chairs and then goes up top and hits the Swanton Bomb on Abyss.

Christy is backstage with Jeff Hardy, who says that it’s a three way dance tonight with the winner becoming the #1 contender, and Christy asks if he can trust Anderson, but Anderson comes strolling in to interrupt and make mention of the people trying to stir the pot. He asks how many times he got in fights with his brother as kids and then worked it all in the end, and Hardy said he did. Tonight they’re going to have to do what they have to do as men, but no hard feelings. They do the fist pound and Hardy says it’s all good.

Christy Hemme Interviews Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson

Christy Hemme is backstage with Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson. Hemme asks how they feel about being a new team and taking on an established team. Hardy says no one carried him. Anderson says they really need a name. He says Creatures of the Assholes. He says Assholes of the Night. He says Enigmatic Assholes. I think he’s sticking with Enigmatic Assholes.

Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson vs. Beer Money

Beer Money is out first. Anderson comes out next. He fumbles the mic from the ceiling spot a bit. He finally announces himself as part of the Extreme Enigmatic assholes. Jeff Hardy comes out next. Anderson and Roode are going to start things off in this contest. “Asshole” chants from the crowd early. Roode quickly tags Storm in. Anderson tags Hardy in now. Stom knocks Hardy down and he and Roode use some double-team action. Hardy eventually makes the tag to Anderson. Anderson and Roode battling it out now. They fight to the floor. They double team Anderson on the floor a bit before the match gets back in the ring. The crowd is spelling A-S-S-H-O-L-E one letter at a time as a big chant. Nice. Anderson fighting back now and makes the tag to Hardy. Hardy gets the hot tag and is cleaning house now. Storm hits the Eye of the Storm on Hardy. Beer Money get into an argument over a spot and Anderson takes Roode down for a three count. Anderson and Hardy win.

Christy Hemme is in the ring and say her guest has a big announcement for Slammiversary, and introduces Mr. Anderson. Anderson checks out Hemme and says he was hoping they could have a hard hitting interview but he… he looks her over and she slaps him. He says he’s not a pig, he’s an asshole. He says the fans are assholes too because they were hoping for a wardrobe malfunction as well. He gets to his big announcement and says Beer Money didn’t have opponents and he stepped up to the party. He says he couldn’t do it by himself and introduces his partner, Jeff Hardy.

Hardy grabs the mic from Christy and says people have been wondering why he would ever team with Anderson. Hardy says Anderson is a funny asshole and the craziest guy he knows besides himself. He says Slammiversary is going to be a party and invites all the creatures but Anderson says he is a cheap asshole and it’s BYOB. Beer Money cuts them off and comes down to the ring looking unhappy. Roode says its cute that TNA’s newest BFF’s have teamed up. Roode asks them what they know about tag team wrestling and Hardy looks shocked. Roode says OK, Jeff had success early in his career but his brother carried him, and they sucked anyway. Roode says they are a great team, like brothers, and says Hardy and Anderson are like oil and water. He asks them what makes them think they can go into the ring with Beer Money at Slammiversary. Anderson cuts them off and wants to know why Roode’s hair is always wet and tells Storm two people wear sunglasses indoors: blind people and jackoffs. Storm says Anderson is funny, and he knows some comedy himself. Storm goes after Anderson and then all four guys brawl as security tries to separate them as we go into a commercial break.

Impact Opener:

Jeff Hardy says what’s up to the creatures and says he wants to know what is going on with Mr. Anderson. Anderson comes out to the stage and makes his way to the ring to address Hardy. Anderson says maybe he helped Hardy out to confuse him, or maybe he did it because he’s an asshole. Anderson tells Hardy his facepaint and tattoos are cool, but some old lady might call him an asshole. He says Hardy should embrace it and starts an A-S-S-H-O-L-E chant before being interuppted by Team Flair. AJ says he showed up and found out that Hardy requested a match with him and Hardy denies it. AJ says he was talking to Anderson and calls him a buttmunch. AJ asks Anderson if he knows who he is, because he’s The One. Anderson says yes he does and wants to introduce himself, and he asks for his mic from the ceiling and yells his name.
